This BMW M2 LCI is insanely quick with just the basic "must-have" modifications

The BMW M2 is almost perfect, out of the box, but these "must-have" performance upgrades complete the M2 LCI and even make it faster than an M2 Competition

In stock form, the car pushes 370 hp and 343 lb/ft from its 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six. The F87 M2 is also the last M-car to come with BMW's 7-speed DCT gearbox. Power is sent to the rear and results in a 4.1-second 0-60 mph time

This particular F87 M2 comes with all the "must-have" mods - a charge pipe, boost pipe, turbo inlet pipe, and an intercooler. Of course, there's also an ECU tune, which takes the base M2 to 11

While no exact figures were given, the M2 should make around 425 hp and 410 lb/ft. The 10.57-second 100-200 km/h time is slightly better than the M2 Competition's 10.59 seconds, and that's with worn-out tires

The BMW M2 LCI is finished in the Misano Blue Metallic (paint code C1D), which is quite popular. It also comes with all the desirable M bits, like the exhaust, carbon-fiber trim, and M Driver's package, which raises the limiter from 155 to 168 mph

The N55-equipped BMW F87 M2 is almost perfect out of the box, but this tastefully modified example lacks the heat-soaking issues and is quicker than an M2 Competition. More importantly, it's all achieved without having to spend a lot of money
