Nvidia said that it would hold its next GTC conference virtually from the 19th to the 22th of September. There were a keynote by Jensez Huang and more than 200 tech sessions.

Huang is discussing the AI and Omniverse environment which are Nvidias simulation environments for creating metaverse-like virtual worlds. In more than 40 of the 200 talks, I’ll focus on a universal sphere of virtual worlds, all interconnected, like in novel:Snow CrashandReady Player One.I’ll discuss the industrial applications of a universal universe with speakers from Mercedes-Benz, Siemens and Magic Leap, as well as Metaverse author Matthew Ball.

During its fireside meeting, GTC will discuss AI in tandem with the winners of the Turing Award – Yoshua Bengio, Geoff Hinton and YannLeCun – discussing how AI will help solve challenging problems. The conversation will be followed by Sanja Fidler, vice-president of AI at Nvidia.

This presentation will explore some of the fundamental advances that drive AI and the metaverse, including large language models, natural language processing, digital twins, digital biology, robotics and climate science.

Nvidia said GTC offers a wide range of sessions for many different audiences. Among these are business executives, data scientists, enterprise IT leaders, designers, developers, researchers and students. There will be content for all phases of their careers for participants with learning-and-development opportunity, many of whom are free.

Attendees can attend a hands-on, full-day technical workshop and two hour training lab offered by the Nvidia Deep Learning Institute (DLI). There are twenty workshops available a lot of times, languages and languages, and more than 25 free training laboratorys are available in accelerated computing, computer vision, data science, conversational AI, natural language processing, etc.

Registrants may go to free two-hour labs or sign up for full-day DLI workshops at a discount rate of 99 dollars through Thursday, Aug. 29 and 49 dollars through GTC.

BMW Group built a digital twin factory that will mirror real-world locations.

This GTC will be a more than 30 hour event in which companies will present significant products for financial services, healthcare, retail, and industrial, respectively. Speaking speakers will share detailed insights to advance business using AI and metaverse technologies, including building AI centers, the business value of digital twins and the new technologies that define how we work, work and play.

In addition to the companies listed above, senior executives from AT&T, BMW, Fox Sports, Carid Motors, Medtronic, Meta, NIO, Pinterest, Polestar, United Airlines and U.S. Bank are among the industry’s highest performers.

NVIDIA Inception, a global program with more than 111,000 startups, is hosting a host of several sessions.

Since lots of conferences are on-site, I asked Nvidia why it’s doing this event nearly again. That company said that while planning this event many months ago, Covid-19 remained unpredictable and the number of people rising again was a good choice, so it was safer to run practically. This allowed Nvidia to recruit more developers and technology leaders from around the world.

Among all the major issues of Omniverse and Metaverse, Nvidia said GTC will be a change of mind.

More than 40 of the 200-plus sessions will focus on the metaverse. Huang will use his keynote to share the latest discoveries from the Omniverse experiment among other technologies.
